I got that from not drinking enough water & neglecting the signs my body was showing me. WeMix Voice Mail Is Here

Whats up?  We just put a really hot new widget on the site - and it's totally free.

It's called WeMix Voice Mail, and our fellas at voodoovox built it. 

Every WeMix artist has this voice mail on their artist page.  All you have to do is enter a mobile phone number - don't worry we NEVER show that number to anyone else.  If you haven't signed up yet, go there now and get busy.

What does this voice mail do?  A lot.  First, it gives you your own open mic to tell everyone at WeMix what's good.  You just call a number, record your outgoing message, and you can tell people about your hot new WeMix songs, your upcoming live shows, whatever.

A Ludacris show is a fun show full of exorbitant amounts of shout-outs "to the ladies." I think he opened and closed every single song with some sort of call-and-response routine about T&A, and people loved it. "I can't remember the last time I played in a tent, but damn if I'm not gonna have a good time here," he told the cheering crowd.

Working with DTP, I come across many artist on a daily basis. Some are better than others. I personally admire a person with self confidence but I can't stand an artist who's too cocky (no homo).. The sales pitch doesn't fly over hear.. Let your body of work speak for you.. You can't tell me you the best thing since the Ipod because I look strictly at the facts.. The music.. So to my Wemix family, maintain your confidence & never let someone knock you but always remain humble & let your creative works speak for itself..

Today's topic comes from an experience I had last night & I'd like to share it my Wemix family.  Last night I saw a young brother who I've watched basically grow up before my eyes. I would describe him as a bright clean cut young man who finished high school & is finishing college. He knows I'm in the music biz & presented me with a demo. As I listened, I realized this isn't the same person I know. In his lyrics I here
him busting his gun & trafficking drugs from state to state. COMPLETE BULLSHIT.! I couldn't wait to see him to tell him what a fake he was!! His response "thats what people wanna here".. I told him that was bot the way to go about it.. I said "what if people call your bluff on it & what would you do?" He couldn't answer that & that's when I said "lil brother,always STAY TRUE TO ONE'S SELF..

Up & coming artist think that success comes over night.. Well I'm here to tell that is so not the case.. The signing process alone takes weeks even months to complete.. After that process, you receive an advance which should hold you through the completion of your project.. Some people choose to jump out the window & purchase cars,cribs, jewelry etc which is a poor decision.. After the completion of your album,you sit on the album release runway until you're number is up which is more time waiting.. I suggest you spend your advance wisely so if you do decide to QUIT YOUR DAY JOB , you're able to pay your bills..
