Big ups to Phokuz, a hot WeMix artist repping all the way from Cleveland to LA. Phokuz is out winner of the very first - but not the last - MyVox Open Mic Showdown. How did he do it? First, he uploaded 45 seconds of his strong rhymes to his WeMix Voice Mail. Then, he unleashed his friends and fam to vote and promote at WeMix. He ended up with almost 200,000 votes at the site, and many Phone votes on the WeMix Hotline. And now he's getting paid for it - $500 in cash plus some custom WeMix gear. Phokuz wasn't the only one to come correct. Qpee was a close second in the voting, and almost took the battle. Who's going to be next?
